Our Pumpkin

I guess John was being modest and didn't post these pics when I was in Sardinia!!  It was fun for Wes to watch him carve the pumpkin...When he was finished, he showed me that he carved the teeth to match Wes'!!  Four on top and 3 on the bottom!  Wes loved pumpkins this year!  He still wanted to carry the carved one around!


  

Fall Fun!

John finally had time to rake some leaves and spend some time outdoors!  Wes sure enjoyed the opportunity to help and play with the dogs!

We spent our Halloween eve in one of the hangars on base with games and treats!

 A little late here...but a few weeks ago we had a wonderful visit with Gammi, Grandpa and Auntie Kristi!!  It's so great to be able to visit pretty regularly while we live so far away!  Wes loved all the attention and was proud to show off his walking skills!!

OK, so I'm a single dad this weekend as Bec is on a girls trip to Sardinia.  Since Katie keeps bugging me about not enough new photos on the blog, I learned how to upload during Wes' naptime.  Enjoy!

Wes has gone bowling a few times now!  He walks up to the ramp, pushes the ball and waves good-bye to it as it rolls down the lane!  Then he gets a high-five!

Ok, so maybe they are Deb's, but they are so sweet and they are getting so big.  Next month, they will be 2 years old!  This summer, they walked down the aisle as flower girls!  

Fall Festival

On Saturday we went to a little fall festival with the Parrott gals and had a great time!  We had sausage and corn on the cob; Wes was a happy guy!!  The corn maze was pretty cool and I don't think I had done one of those before!  Wes loved seeing all the pumpkins and playing in the hay!  It was  a great day and the weather was perfect!

We had lots of fun looking at the animals!!  Wes really liked the bunnies and the pigs.  There were lions and tigers and a bear, oh my!  Good thing he woke up, though...it took a few minutes to arise him from his nap!

Visiting Aunt Karen and Uncle Vern in VA! and Fanny!

On our recent jaunt to Virginia, we were able to meet up with Aunt Karen and Uncle Vern for a yummy spaghetti dinner and visit!  We are extra excited to move to Virginia because we have lots of family right there!   John's cousins also live in the area and we can't wait to be close to them!  I can't believe I didn't take pics of A. Karen or U. Verne, but she would probably say it's because I was too busy taking pics of Wes!!  I didn't even get pics of Mark and Amy's beautiful girls, Robin and Rachel!!  I do remember Amy taking some though!
